1841 2d Blue (RB) Plate 3. A good used 3 margin example, neatly
tied to folded letter sheet from London to Kendal by an almost
full and upright strike of the scarce London "9" in
Maltese cross. Lovely Brown London forwarding cross on the reverse
for Jan 8 1844, and Kendal town receiving in Blue alongside for
the following day. SG Cat £2500.00. A scarce item, a 4 margin
example would certainly be in excess of £1000.00
