Great Britain - Four Kings
Until 31 December 1910 High Values were printed by De
La Rue. The contract for printing the stamps was put to out tender by the
Post Office in an attempt to reduce costs. Harrison & Son, who had
never printed postage stamps before, won the contract to print the single
coloured stamps, while the bi-coloured stamps and the high values were
printed at Somerset House.
