41/2d GREEN & SCARLET UNMOUNTED MINT PANE "NEW" CONSTANT VARIETY
fine unmounted mint - mint never hinged - pane in the "scarlet" shade, in lovely fresh
condition. Not even a hinge in the margin!
The top left stamp, R1/1 has damage to inner
frame line in two places, lower left and right. Also a break in the top right value
This is an as yet unlisted but constant variety, as it is matched with a
single, also in the scarlet shade with the same variety.
This is an important item, as
it proves position from pane "E" which needs to be listed. Spec K34(4)

example, neatly cancelled by a scarce London CDS for 20th March 1917 code "Z".
cancellation is only found on the 10s & £1 values of this printing and it is not known
what these capitol letters represent.

4 LAVENDER TINTED THICK PAPER A FINE PAIR BG/BH
In this very distinctive "violet" shade, this lovely
looking pair, has margin just cut into below BH, just
clear NW corner of BG,
otherwise good to large margins above and to the right. It
is on thick lavender tinted paper with the pinkish line around the head,
been lightly cancelled in Liverpool. A rare item from the 1851 printing. Spec ES16. SG

JUBILEE SG204 3d PURPLE ON ORANGE PAPER MINT BLOCK OF 4 EX. HAROLD FISHER
A rare block of 4 from the famous Harold fisher collection, sold by Phillips in 1983
over 30 years ago for just under £1000.00. Extremely lightly mounted if at all, the
bottom right stamp has a small mark of adhesion, the others less. The top of the NE
is slightly "oily". On the "orange" paper, these are extremely rare in
